TG4 has confirmed that it will broadcast live coverage of 11 League of Ireland and FAI Ford Cup fixtures this season, beginning with the all-Premier Division cup clash between Dundalk and Bohemians at Oriel Park on August 14th.

TG4’s cameras will be at Oriel Park for the fourth round FAI Ford Cup match as the Gypsies and the Lilywhites compete for a place in the quarter finals of this season’s competition.  

The following Friday Sacar Beo will be at the Brandywell Stadium for live coverage of Derry City v St. Patrick’s Athletic, while on August 28th Shamrock Rovers’ visit to Terryland Park to face Galway United will be broadcast live on TG4. The station has also confirmed that it will be at the Tallaght Stadium on September 4th when Shamrock Rovers will host St. Patrick’s Athletic.

Sacar Beo will be presented by Richie Ó hEadhra, with commentary and analysis by Garry Mac Donncha and Charlie McGeever. The live coverage will begin at 7:30pm each Friday with pre-match build-up including interviews, news and analysis. TG4’s live coverage will also include two matches from the FAI Ford Cup Quarter Final’s in mid-September.
