General Information

Drogheda United were elected to the League of Ireland in 1963. Since winning the First Division title in 2001-02, the club has been enjoying one of its best spells in senior football, bringing the Premier Division title to United Park for the first time in 2007.

Drogheda followed-up their 2005 FAI Cup success by taking the Setanta Sports Cup title the following season, before successfully defending their Setanta crown in the 2007 season.
