Brush ready for biggest night PDF Print E-mail
Sligo Rovers end a 13-year exile from European competition tonight, and goalkeeper Richard Brush wants the club's Europa League adventure to go on as long as possible.

The Bit O'Red face FK Vllaznia Shkoder of Albania at The Showgrounds tonight in front of an expected capacity crowd. Brush says that tonight's match will be the biggest match of his career, but he knows that bigger nights could yet lie in wait.

"This is easily the biggest game of my career and it would be brilliant if I could keep a clean sheet," said the Birmingham-born shot-stopper.

"There is a chance of playing Rapid Vienna in the next round and that would be massive for the club.

"We don't know what we'll be up against tonight and I would imagine the game would be cautious at the start as both teams size each other up.

"But with the players we have we know we can score goals, so if we can keep it tight at the back we will have a good chance."

Sligo are missing long-term absentees Chris Butler and Stephen Parkhouse but hope to be otherwise at full strength.
