Founded in 1929, St. Patrick’s Athletic entered the League of Ireland in 1951. Their impact on the league was immediate, taking the title at the first time of asking.
The 1950s and 1990s will always be remembered as the golden eras of the ‘Super Saints’, but under the guidance of Pete Mahon, Saints fans will be hoping that the good times are not far away.
