Cork City have collected silverware for the first time this season after beating St. Patrick’s Athletic in the final of the Futsal League of Ireland. Two goals from Ian Turner and one each from Craig Duggan and Gavin Walsh saw the Rebel Army seal a 4-2 win after extra time.

NewstalkLeague of Ireland supporters don’t have to miss a minute of the action, with the launch of a new text message and ezine service through the league’s official website, www.loi.ie.

Supporters can register on loi.ie for club specific text message updates, as well as general League of Ireland ezine updates. The new service was launched today, allowing League of Ireland fans to register their details on loi.ie for this service, which is completely free of charge.

The text messaging service, which will be sponsored by Newstalk 106-108, will enable clubs to send latest news and fixture updates directly to supporters. League of Ireland fans can also register to receive a monthly ezine, which will detail all the latest news from around the league.

To avail of these exciting new services, supporters should complete the short online registration form
