David Breen scored and was then sent off as Wexford inflicted a fifth defeat of the season on Airtricity League newcomers Salthill Devon at Ferrycarrig Park. Breen headed Youths in front on 25 minutes before being sent off for a professional foul on David Shovlin six minutes into the second half. In-between, Devon had levelled on 32 minutes when Charlie Burke reacted well to rifle home after Youths had failed to clear a corner by Enda Dunne. Danny Furlong then won it for 10-man Youths on 83 minutes when he beat Devon keeper Ronan Forde with a crisp volley from Patsy Malone’s cross. |
