Shane Clarke scored twice as Limerick came from 2-0 down to deprive Salthill Devon of their first points of the season in a thrilling game at Drom. Mike Kennedy tapped home a cross to give Devon the lead on 36 minutes The Galway amateurs then doubled their advantage within two minutes when Mikey Gilmore beat Limerick keeper Dave Ryan with a stunning volley. Limerick hit back inside a further two minutes when Shane Treacy headed home a corner. A Treacy penalty then came back off a post right on the blow of half-time with Clarke lobbing home keeper Marty Mannion to level. Clarke then won the match for Pat Scully’s side with a goal in the final minute. |
